Runoff
Runoff refers to when excess water flows over the surface of soil instead of being absorbed. This can happen when sprinklers are spraying out more water than the soil can effectively soak up, leading to water waste, erosion, and shallow root systems. Runoff can be prevented by adjusting the run times and water pressure of your sprinkler system.
